Usage

Sublimation paper is a specialized paper with a unique coating that holds and releases dye-sublimation ink for heat-activated image transfer.

Feature

1.Specialized coating: The paper is engineered with a special polymer coating that prevents the sublimation ink from being absorbed into the paper fibers. This ensures that nearly all of the ink is available for transfer during the heating process.

2.High transfer rate: Quality sublimation papers are known for their high transfer efficiency, often transferring over 98% of the ink to the substrate. This results in vivid, true-to-life colors in the final design.

3.Fast-drying: The paper's coating is formulated for rapid ink absorption and quick drying. This prevents smudging, which is essential for a clean and crisp transfer.

4.Durable and washable transfers: Unlike heat-transfer paper where the design sits on top of the surface, sublimation ink is infused into the material at a molecular level. This creates a permanent print that will not crack, peel, or fade, even with repeated washing and wear.

5.Prints appear dull: When first printed, the image on sublimation paper will look faded or dull. The true, vibrant colors only appear after the heat-transfer process is complete.

6.Single-sided for printing: Most sublimation paper is designed for printing on only one side. The correct, coated side is typically bright white, while the back may have a watermark or a different color to help you distinguish it.

7.Withstands high temperatures: Sublimation paper is durable enough to endure the high heat and pressure of a heat press without curling, wrinkling, or cracking.

8.Must be used with sublimation ink: The specialized coating is designed to work exclusively with sublimation ink, which changes from a solid to a gas when heated. Standard inkjet inks are incompatible and will not transfer correctly.
